The strangest of reports came out early Monday morning, Jim Harbaugh doesn’t want people to eat chicken.
According to former Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight, Harbaugh pulled him to the side one day and told him not to eat chicken “because it’s a nervous bird.”
“He thinks some type of sickness injected its way into the human population when people began eating white meats instead of beef and pork. And he believes it, 100 percent,” Speight said.
We know Harbaugh loves his milk, he loves steak, but should we believe that he hates chicken?
Investigative reporting was necessary when faced with this question, it was important to find if there was another side to this story, and it appears very likely Jim Harbaugh enjoys eating chicken as well.
Exhibit A
I saw Dave Eggers and Jim Harbaugh sharing a free range chicken quesadilla in Palo Alto.

Harbaugh was the coach of the San Francisco 49ers at the time, Dave Eggers is an award winning author who lives in the Bay Area. Chalk this 2012 tweet up as evidence Harbaugh had some chicken with Eggers.
Exhibit B
Pretty cool seeing Jim Harbaugh in Buffalo Wild Wings tonight

One would not go to Buffalo Wild Wings if they weren’t going to dive into some chicken wings. Their burgers aren’t filling and leave you wanting to eat more food... such as chicken wings!
Harbaugh also took Michigan to the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, where the Florida Gators and Michigan had a wing eating contest on the beach. Do you really think he would have accepted that bowl invitation if he didn’t like chicken?
Exhibit C
Happy 19th Birthday to UofM Fullback Nick Volk from The Great Michigan town of Frankenmuth, also known for the Best Chicken you'll ever eat
— Coach Harbaugh (@CoachJim4UM) March 4, 2015
This is from the man himself, talking about a town of 5,000. When Harbaugh thinks of Frankenmuth, Michigan, guess what he’s thinking about? THE BEST DAMN CHICKEN YOU’LL EVER EAT.
Conclusion
I also found out Harbaugh has only mentioned chicken once in all his tweets, but he’s only mentioned steak one time as well.
Harbaugh doesn’t discriminate against white meat and dark meat it appears after all. It is highly likely Wilton Speight didn’t detect Harbaugh’s sarcasm on this issue.
Harbaugh hates chicken= #FakeNews
