Ignas Brazdeikis may just be a freshman, but he has impacted the Michigan basketball team in a profound way. Iggy has already shown to be a fiery leader who has athleticism and versatility on both sides of the floor. There are lots of college basketball players, and for him to be among The Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 is a great feat. Keep it up, Iggy.

The Michigan basketball team is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation with a 15-0 record. After Houston’s loss on Wednesday the only remaining undefeated team is Virginia. Michigan hasn’t had a cupcake schedule to this point in the season, either, with big time wins over Villanova and North Carolina on their resume.

It doesn’t matter what sport, Michigan and Northwestern almost always seem to have games that go down to the wire. In this one Michigan was able to come from behind and get out of the building with a 1-point win. The team is currently 11-5 and will be taking on the Terrapins in Maryland on Saturday.
