To the surprise of very few, Michigan will be facing Penn State for a night game in Happy Valley. The team officially announced a 7:30 pm kickoff between the schools for the game on October 19.

Michigan’s last trip to State College was also a White Out at night and did not end well for the visitors, with the Nittany Lions laying down a 42-13 beatdown. Meanwhile, the Wolverines have won the last two games in Ann Arbor fairly convincingly, with 49-10 and 42-7 scorelines to match the trend of lopsided wins for the home side in recent years.

For Michigan to avoid another embarrassment it will not be easy, as Penn State currently sits 5-0 ahead of a trip to Iowa this Saturday. The Wolverines seem to have a favorable matchup with Illinois ahead of the showdown, but as the schedule begins to significantly ramp up, no game should be taken lightly. The Nittany Lions are currently ranked No. 10 in the latest AP Poll.
