Week 10 in college football had five of the top 10 teams on a bye, a top 10 matchup as the marquee game, and very few upsets in the top 25 with only 16 teams in action. This is the final Sunday before the first College Football Playoff ranking on Tuesday, which is really the only ranking that matters.
The only ranked Big Ten team that had a game in Week 10 was Michigan. The Wolverines dominated the entire game from the first kickoff, a 97-yard return for a touchdown by freshman Giles Jackson. That performance and the results of a few other ranked teams in action gave the Wolverines a bump in the latest polls.
