The Super Bowl is just hours away, and as far as I’m concerned, this is a National Holiday.
Every type of food and beverage known to mankind will be consumed today, tens of millions of people will gather to watch this event.
And for the Michigan fanbase, they get to see former Wolverine Tom Brady participate in his 9th Super Bowl.
Both teams are excellent in different ways. On paper, the Rams would appear to be the more talented bunch. However, the likes of Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and Rob Gronkowski, along with dozens of other Patriots that having Super Bowl experience may prove to be a big deal.
Both teams have great coaches. One head coach is young and the definition of innovative, while the other prepares better than any coach in history and will exploit any weakness his opponent has to give his team the edge.
The Rams defensive line will be a major factor in the game. When the Patriots have lost the Super Bowl, it has been in large part to a stiff pass rush getting at Brady (the Giants twice, and Eagles). If Brady has time to throw, he should be able to slice up the Rams mediocre secondary. But the d-line of Ndamukong Suh, Aaron Donald, and Michael Brockers all can do some serious damage.
Either way, it should be a great game. And with that in mind, we would like to know who the Michigan faithful think will win this game. Vote below and give us your reasoning.
