NCAA Tournament: Lines, TV Info, and Live Thread for Friday’s Early Games

Day 2’s early slate is mostly appetizers

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Columbus Practice Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

What a great first day. Both my schools won... and will be facing each other for what seems like the hundredth time in the last few years. We didn’t have any buzzer beaters, but we saw a triple double from Ja Morant, Pitino’s revenge, Wofford go nuclear to close out Seton Hall, and incredibly impressive opening performances from Kentucky and Gonzaga. Let’s also give Bradley a shoutout for giving the Spartans all they could handle.

Yesterday’s games were wild for gamblers as the first six games all saw the underdog cover the spread. The later slate saw things even out with Florida being the only double digit seed to win their game. Murray State and Minnesota both won earlier in the day. Let’s see what today has in store. As a reminder, you can watch all games on March Madness Live.

The Games

12:15 on CBS — No. 10 Iowa Hawkeyes vs No. 7 Cincinnati Bearcats in Columbus (Cincy -4, o/u 137.5)

12:40 on TruTV — No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners vs No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels in Columbia (Ole Miss -1.5, o/u 142.5)

1:30 on TNT — No. 14 Northern Kentucky Norse vs No. 3 Texas Tech Red Raiders in Tulsa (TTU -13, o/u136.5)

2:00 on TBS — No. 13 UC Irvine Anteaters vs No. 4 Kansas State Wildcats in San Jose (KSU -4.5, o/u 118.5)

2:45 on CBS — No. 15 Colgate Raiders vs No. 2 Tennessee Volunteers in Columbus (UT -17.5, o/u 147.5)

3:10 on TruTV — No. 16 Gardner-Webb Bulldogs vs No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers in Columbia (UVA -22, o/u 129.5)

4:00 on TNT — No. 11 Arizona State Sun Devils vs No. 6 Buffalo Bulls in Tulsa (Buffalo -4.5, o/u 157)

4:30 on TBS — No. 12 Oregon Ducks vs No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers in San Jose (Wisco -2, o/u116.5)

Dan’s Picks: After ending last night on a real heater, I’m feeling frisky. We like the ‘dogs today, so give me Arizona State and Oklahoma Straight up.
