Hill-Green is a three-star prospect and the 27th-ranked outside linebacker in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. 247Sports’ rankings on their own have him as a four-star player and the 22nd-overall prospect at his position.
New defensive assistant Anthony Campanile was listed as his primary recruiter on his profile.
Michigan’s 2020 class is still in the early stages and ranks 18th in the country and fifth in the Big Ten Conference behind Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa and Northwestern. They have brought in four four-star players in cornerback Andre Seldon (Belleville, Michigan), Hill-Green’s teammate in linebacker Osman Savage (Baltimore, MD), offensive tackle Zack Zinter (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and quarterback JD Johnson (Phoenix, Arizona). The rest of the class is filled out by three stars in Hill-Green, tight end Nick Patterson (San Antonio, Texas), linebacker Cornell Wheeler (West Bloomfield, Michigan) and another St. Frances Academy product in offensive tackle Micah Mazzccua (Baltimore, Maryland).
