While the Michigan basketball coaching staff is in the process of being built under Coach Howard, more good news on the recruiting trail was announced. 2019 Four-star SF Cole Bajema from Lynden (WA) announced that he is holding strong with his commitment to Michigan.
“Having patiently waited for Michigan to name its new head coach, I am very excited Juwan Howard is the new head coach. I believe he will uphold the great culture that is Michigan basketball. I know there’s been a lot of speculation out there, but I am ALL IN for Coach Howard and ready to report in June! Go Blue!”

Bajema’s announcement is a great news for the program due ton the loss three huge pieces of this team; Ignas Brazdeikis, Jordan Poole and Charles Matthews.
The shift now is on Jalen Wilson, who asked last week for release from his letter of intent. Wilson set up official visits to North Carolina and Kansas but he’s still considering Michigan. A couple other schools who seem to be in the mix are Oklahoma and Florida.
We’ll keep you updated on all the latest recruiting news and notes.
