Vote: What’s your favorite kickoff time on college football saturday?

Everyone has their favorite time to watch college football on a fall Saturday. Chime in with your vote and why? Plus, Twitter poll results show it’s a mixed bag of opinions.

We’re in the home stretch before the 2019 college football season gets underway and the buzz around the country continues to build. Many fans are now dissecting the season and their personal schedules to see the conflicts based on starting time.

Kids sports, weddings, and other obligations fill fall Saturday’s, which hinder someones ability to attend or even watch games live. If you can’t watch it you then have to tell everyone to not text you because likely you’re not watching it live. The wedding season in the fall always makes for a tough situation on a big game weekend. I’m one in that category since I was married in 2006 on the last weekend of the season. Michigan fans likely don’t have to think too long to remember that game. It was one of the best days of my life and yes we did sing, “Hail To The Victors” after cutting the cake.

Outside of personal conflicts, it also depends on what time zone you live in. For those on the West coast, they wake up and at 9 a.m. local, they’ve got live college football. Anyone on the East coast has to stay up late to catch the games wrapping up the night on the West coast.

The game day experience is different at every campus and usually is a full day affair, depending on the kickoff. Anyone who makes it around Ann Arbor must plan their day around traffic, parking, tailgating and attending the game with usually over 120,000 people in the span of a few blocks.

For me, it all depends on whether I’m attending the game or watching it at home. If I’m attending the game, I like the 3:30pm. That gives me time to arrive on campus, find my way to the tailgate, go to the game and end the day catching late games back at the tailgate or downtown Ann Arbor at a bar. If I’m watching at home, it all depends on my schedule and if I can tune in live. The opening weekend will feel eternity having to wait until 7:30pm for the kickoff.

I took this question to Twitter and the results show noon is the preferred kickoff.

I like the way Von put it here, which also got the most likes in the reply section.
