Things may have hit rock bottom for Michigan fans. Despite losing a third game in a row, confidence among Michigan fans ticked up, if only slightly.
According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, 14 percent of responding Michigan fans said they are confident the team is headed in the right direction. That’s up from 11 percent last week, but down from 90 percent following the opening-game win.

Rumors have started to swirl as the pressure mounts on head coach Jim Harbaugh. For now, Harbaugh appears to still have a future with the program. That same can’t be said for another Power Five coach.
South Carolina fired head coach Will Muschamp and according to fans around the country, that will just be the beginning. Roughly two-thirds of fans think at least three Power Five schools will fire their head coach before the end of the season, with 39 percent predicting three coaches getting the axe.

Making things more difficult for those schools that may be looking for a new coach, fans don’t think they will exactly be able to pick-and-choose among the next level of coaches. More than half of fans said they would rather coach a dominant Group of Five program than a lower-level Power Five team.
