WATCH: Overview and analysis of Michigan’s 2021 early signing period

Michigan put in some work offensively in this cycle.

The Michigan Wolverines somehow pulled off a Top 10 class on National Signing Day despite having an admittedly really difficult 2020 season. Headlined by 5-star QB J.J. McCarthy, Michigan was able to hold onto offensive weapons on signing day, notably Donovan Edwards, 4-star RB from West Bloomfield, and Xavier Worthy, the 4-star speedster WR that Alabama was pushing hard for.

While there is still plenty of work to do on the defensive side of the ball, especially at DT and CB, it’s hard not to be impressed with the job the staff did to hold onto this class that ended up 2nd best in the Big Ten.
