The first 10 games of the Michigan Wolverines’ season on the ice was a mixed bag. They came out extremely promising, starting the season 4-0 with sweeps against both Arizona State and Wisconsin. The team looked fast, crisp, and extremely talented with a ton of new faces on offense and a stout goaltender in Strauss Mann.
Then, the final six games saw a finish of 1-5 from the Wolverines, with sweeps at the hands of Notre Dame & Minnesota, as well as a nine-game loss to give Penn State their first win of the season. All things considered, the month-long break could be a bit of a blessing to allow the team to regroup and reset.
