The Michigan Wolverines have seen another soon-to-be junior hit the transfer portal, as a source informed Maize n Brew that forward/center Colin Castleton is moving on from the program. The move opens up another scholarship spot for the Wolverines, who have gone from one over the limit to two players under in the last few days.
Castleton appeared in 25 career games for the Wolverines, averaging 3.5 points per game in two seasons played. He joins fellow classmate David DeJulius in the portal after the point guard entered earlier this week.
The Wolverines now have a pair of scholarship spots open with the two transfers and decision to have three-star forward Jace Howard come in as a walk-on. This frees the Wolverines up to add five-star Joshua Christopher and a potential transfer/recruit addition without any more attrition. Other possible moves could come in the form of Isaiah Livers staying in the NBA Draft, as well as Franz Wagner doing the same if he declares.
