We are 20 days removed from the Big Ten’s decision to postpone fall sports, which obviously leaves an outlet like ours in a predicament of continuing to put out consistent and relevant content until games are played again. The last five months or so have been rough, but we feel like we have mostly delivered on our promise to keep our community engaged.
We are going to miss our game week coverage tremendously this year, but we have decided to add a theme to each week that passes without sports being played.
Here are some of the topics we are set to cover during these weeks:
- Rivalries (MSU, OSU, Notre Dame, etc.)
- “What Ifs”
- Greatest games
- Fan culture
- Fab Five
- Unsung heroes
- Many more
We have enough topics set to take us to the new year as we plan ahead to an unprecedented fall season. But if there’s something you would love for us to tackle, please do not hesitate to reach out!
This week at Maize n Brew, we are going to be taking a look back and highlighting some of the most memorable performances in the history of Michigan Athletics. Members of our staff will be weighing in with some of theirs, but we wanted to give you guys a chance to join in on the fun.
This thread will be open all week for you to share and debate some of your favorites and what they meant to you. Get the conversation going in the comments below and be sure to check in on what our staff had to add to the mix, as well.
