Skyy Clark is one of the top point guard prospects in the 2022 class and has named the final four schools in contention for his services. Unfortunately, the Michigan Wolverines missed the cut here, as North Carolina Tar Heels, UCLA Bruins, Memphis Tigers and Kentucky Wildcats are the programs that have been tabbed as the favorites for his services.
Clark is the No. 15 overall player in the country and the No. 3 combo guard (though he takes issue to this label) in the 2022 class, per the 247Sports Composite. Many experts in the industry expect him to eventually land at Kentucky and that he may ultimately wind up reclassifying to the 2021 cycle.
Michigan is projected to have about four slots available in the 2022 class and point guard figures to be a position of emphasis for them in the cycle. As of now, four-star Dug McDaniel appears to be the name with the most buzz tied to the position. The class also feels likely to feature four-star shooting guard Jett Howard, who is the son of head coach Juwan Howard.
