The Wolverines went 1-1 last week.

NCAA Basketball: Michigan at Minnesota Harrison Barden-USA TODAY Sports

The Michigan Wolverines experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows last week after entering the top ten of the AP Poll. Given the polar opposite games they played against Wisconsin and Minnesota, their ranking remains unchanged.

The Wolverines were once again ranked at No. 7 in this week’s AP top-25 a week that saw them go 1-1. The win against Wisconsin had some people speculating they might be the best team in the country behind Gonzaga and Baylor, but the loss Saturday at Minnesota put things back in perspective in the eyes of the voters.

The Big Ten has six ranked teams this week in Iowa (No. 4), Michigan (7), Wisconsin (10), Ohio State (15), Minnesota (17), and Illinois (22). The top three of Gonzaga, Baylor, and Villanova went unchanged this week.
