The Washington Football Team selected Michigan Wolverines long snapper Camaron Cheeseman with the No. 225 overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was the second player taken at the position in a bit of a mini-run at the end of the sixth round.

Cheeseman appeared in 39 games in his Michigan career and given that this will be the first time many of you have heard his name, did his job pretty well. He opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns and wound up being drafted, so things worked out pretty well for him.

This would normally be the part of the story where I copy and paste the scouting report, but we did not prepare one. Michigan had some struggles in the kicking game in the last few seasons, but snaps were not one of them.

This has been your Camaron Cheeseman scouting report.

The first round of the draft was held on Thursday night with the second and third rounds on for Friday. The event concludes from Cleveland, Ohio with the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday.
