NBA Summer League kicked off this week, as Michigan basketball fans should recognize more than a few players showcasing their talents this month.

There will be 10 Wolverines at Summer League, including Charles Matthews for the Philadelphia 76ers, who was accidentally left out of the tweet from Michigan men’s basketball.

Chaundee Brown and Zavier Simpson have their first two games under their belt, as they faced off with the Miami Heat and the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento earlier this week.

After starting against the Heat and finishing with 7 points and 3 rebounds in 23 minutes, Brown looked more comfortable against the Kings, finishing with 12 points and 4 boards on 50 percent shooting off the bench,

As a good defender who doesn’t just rely on catch-and-shoot threes to score, Brown showed why he can make it onto a roster and can carve out a role for himself in the NBA.

Simpson, who didn’t play much over the Lakers’ first two Summer League games, got a shoutout from his former coach, as Juwan Howard loved to see him create shots for his teammates.

Poole didn’t dress for either of the Warriors’ Summer League games, but showed signs of maturity from the bench, offering guidance to Golden State’s talented young players.

Many more Wolverines will be playing this week. Here is where you can find them in the Las Vegas Summer League before the final tournament starts on Monday, August 16 (excluding Isaiah Livers, who won’t play due to injury):
