Michigan women’s golf advances to national finals


Michigan’s women’s golf team is advancing to the NCAA national championship for a second straight season and a fifth time overall. The 18th-ranked Wolverines, who entered Wednesday’s final round of the Ann Arbor regional in fourth place – the final qualifying spot for the national finals – shot a 3-over-par 287 to finished tied for third with No. 20 Arkansas. Their 287 was their best round of the three-day NCAA regional at University of Michigan Golf Course and helped them pick up 11 strokes on the Razorbacks on Wednesday.
