Now that the dust has settled and the 2024 class is set in stone for the Michigan Wolverines, the attention now turns to these prospects getting on campus and participating in winter conditioning and spring practices.

Here is every expected early enrollee for the Wolverines’ 2024 recruiting cycle. All rankings below are according to 247Sports’ composite.

This is a pretty sizable chunk (12 players) from Michigan’s 27-man class. It’s especially good to have Davis — Michigan’s possible quarterback of the future — be able to enroll early, as it’s so important for quarterbacks to get a jump start on their development and chemistry with their wide receivers.

Speaking of wide receivers, having Michigan’s two receiver signees in Goodwin and Stewart enroll early is also a great thing. Freshmen don’t usually make a giant impact in college football at this position, but we have seen Semaj Morgan carve out a really nice role his true freshman season; perhaps one of these two can do the same.

It’s also good to have a pair of offensive linemen enroll early in Frazier and Guarnera. Frazier — who is likely to be a tackle — and Guarnera — who is the center of this class — will have a leg up on their classmates in Andrew Sprague, Ben Roebuck and Luke Hamilton, who unfortunately will not be in Ann Arbor until the summer.

Lastly, it would have been nice to see at least one of Michigan’s two running backs enroll early. Both Jordan Marshall and Micah Ka’apana have enormous potential, and with Michigan set to lose Blake Corum — and possibly Donovan Edwards — this offseason, it is vital the Wolverines have depth at the running back position in 2024. Kalel Mullings is a solid back, but there isn’t much proven depth behind him at the moment.
