2023 Michigan Wolverines transfer portal tracker

Here are the players transferring out of Michigan, and the players who are linked to Michigan.

Dec. 4 marked the first day that all college football players across the country can enter their name into the transfer portal.

Here, you will find players the Michigan Wolverines are going after, guys who have committed to the team for next season, and current Wolverines who have decided to enter the portal.

This thread will be updated as things develop in the ensuing weeks and months.

Players offered

UPDATE: Michigan is set to host Slackman on a visit sometime during the week of Dec. 11, according to 247Sports. He is focusing on U-M, Florida, Wisconsin, UNC and Virginia Tech.

UPDATE #2: Michigan is no longer hosting Slackman on a visit.

UPDATE#3: Slackman committed to Florida.

UPDATE: Michigan is slated to host Stout for an official visit on Dec. 10, according to 247Sports.

UPDATE #2: Stout has withdrawn his name from the portal, per 247Sports.

UPDATE: McCulley announced that he is staying at Indiana.

UPDATE: Banks will be visiting Michigan in January, he told The Wolverine.

UPDATE #2: Banks committed to Nebraska, he announced.

Other Reports

  • Former UCLA QB Dante Moore has been in contact with Michigan, according to On3. The Wolverines appear to be one of the frontrunners for Moore and are expected to receive a visit in the coming weeks. Other schools set to host Moore include Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State, according to On3.

UPDATE: Moore is visiting Oregon the weekend of Dec. 16, according to 247Sports.

UPDATE #2: Moore committed to Oregon on Dec. 18.

  • Michigan is targeting former Texas A&M OL Chase Bisontis, according to 247Sports ($), and the coaching staff is hoping he locks in a visit. Furthermore, Bisontis has been in contact with nearly 30 schools, including Ohio State, USC, Oregon, Clemson, Notre Dame, Penn State and more.

UPDATE: Bisontis has withdrawn his name from the portal, per 247Sports.

  • According to JPGCFB on Twitter, Michigan has been in contact with former UConn CB Mumu Bin-Wahad, along with other schools like USC, Miami, Michigan State, North Carolina and others.
  • According to On3, Michigan has had contact with former Tulane WR Chris Brazzell.
  • According to 247Sports, Michigan and Alabama are the two schools “worth keeping an eye on” regarding former USC CB Domani Jackson.

UPDATE: Jackson has committed to Alabama.
