J.J. McCarthy and Michael Penix Jr. national championship prop bets

Here’s the latest prop bets on DraftKings.

When Michigan and Washington square off in the national championship on Monday night two of the best quarterbacks in the nation will be going head to head. Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy and Washington’s Michael Penix Jr.

  • McCarthy ranks highly in a variety of statistics after throwing for 2,630 yards with 19 touchdowns and four interceptions this season, along with 146 yards rushing and three scores. McCarthy currently ranks third in ESPN’s Total QBR metric (89.2), second in the nation in completion percentage (74.2), and sixth in passer rating (170.3).
  • Penix Jr. was the Heisman runner-up and leads the nation in passing yards with 4,648 and has thrown 35 touchdowns with nine interceptions while completing 66.7 percent of his throws.

  • Passing yards: The over/under for McCarthy is 197.5 and 288.5 for Penix Jr.

  • National Title Game Offensive MVP: McCarthy’s odds are at +125 and Penix Jr. is at +200.
