This week on Out of the Blue, the boys break down the first three games of the season: Western Michigan, Washington, and Northern Illinois.

  • A veteran Western Michigan team with a high powered offense will test defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald’s defense right out of the gates.
  • Washington, that features highly recruited players on both sides of the ball, will provide the first benchmark test and set the tone for what to expect from this team in 2021.
  • Northern Illinois, well, they will not be great after finishing winless in 2020, but do feature a quarterback all too familiar to the Wolverines: Michigan State transfer Rocky Lombardi.

Jared and Andy dive deep into the positional match-ups that could dictate the outcomes of the first three games and make predictions.

Enjoy the pod and be sure to slide in and drop a 5-star rating and review, Wolverine fans!
