It looks like John Beilein and the Michigan Wolverines basketball program will be getting a visit from one of 2015's top recruits in five-star small forward Jaylen Brown (Marietta, Georgia), who tells SNY's Adam Zagoria that he plans on taking an official visit to Ann Arbor before his recruitment is over.
Michigan really has not been much of a factor in the process, but Brown's interest in them has flared up a bit in the last few weeks enough to where he wants to take a closer look for himself.
"The coach is cool," he said. "They have a lot of freedom within their system. I’m from Michigan. That’s where my family is from, so Michigan is home. Not too far from where my mom was raised."
Beilein got involved "about a month and a half ago," Brown said, adding that he’s not sure when he might visit.
Brown is the 2nd ranked player in the class of 2015, according to the 247 Composite. Kentucky and UCLA look like the two teams to beat as of today.
