Michigan Basketball: Cornell transfer Shonn Miller met with Wolverines on Friday

The graduate transfer has also met with UConn, Boston College and Illinois.

Cornell forward and graduate transfer Shonn Miller met with Michigan on Friday, according to a report from ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Miller also met with UConn, Illinois and Boston College on Thursday, per Goodman's report.

He is transferring from Cornell because of an Ivy League rule that prohibits graduate students from competing in athletics. Miller already has used a redshirt year, so in order to stay with Cornell he would have had to delay his graduation. As a transfer, he can go to whatever school he chooses and remain on scholarship.

Being a grad student, he will be eligible to play right away next season.

Miller averaged 16.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game last season for the Big Red.

Below are highlights of his senior season from UMHoops.com.
