Davis, 6-10, 250 pounds, is a three-star prospect according to Rivals. He is unranked on the other major recruiting services. Notre Dame, Iowa and Wisconsin were among the other schools showing interest.
With his commitment, Michigan now has two committed players in their 2016 class. The other is four-star center Jon Teske (Medina, Ohio).
The Wolverines have one more scholarship spot for the 2016-17 season available without factoring in attrition.
