It has been thrown around as rumor recently, but it appears more coaching staff attrition is on the way for Michigan basketball.
Assistant coach Bacari Alexander is reportedly finalizing a contract to become the new head coach for the Detroit Titans of the Horizon League, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Alexander has been a member of John Beilein's coaching staff since 2010 after assistant coaching stints at Western Michigan, Ohio and Detroit, which is where he also spent the final two seasons of his collegiate playing career.
The news of this hire comes week after the Wolverines lost LaVall Jordan to the Milwaukee Panthers, where he filled their head coaching vacancy. The last time Beilein had to replace two assistants was in 2010 when he hired both Jordan and Alexander.
