The center announced earlier this spring that he would be transferring out of the Michigan basketball program after two seasons in Ann Arbor. He will sit out this upcoming year and have two remaining seasons of eligibility at FGCU.
Doyle was a solid contributor in his two seasons at Michigan, playing in 67 of a possible 68 games that included 30 starts. He averaged 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
He is one of four players to transfer out of the program following the conclusion of the 2015-16 season along with Aubrey Dawkins, Spike Albrecht and Kam Chatman.
The off-season has also seen the Wolverines replace a pair of assistant coaches in LaVall Jordan and Bacari Alexander, who received head coaching jobs elsewhere, with Billy Donlon and Saddi Washington.
