Michigan vs. Villanova: How to Watch, GameThread

A national title game rematch on Wednesday night.

NCAA Basketball: Final Four Championship Game-Michigan vs Villanova Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Michigan Basketball travels to Villanova on Wednesday night for a rematch from last season’s NCAA title game, but it is a game that feels like it is lacking the buzz that some may expect. There could be a few reasons for that.

The first is that many of the key players from both sides are gone, so there may not be much bad blood. Second is that many are expecting Michigan to get blown off the court, as we have sometimes grown accustomed to in these non-conference growing pain games.

The Wolverines have had problems scoring the basketball, but they have been as good on defense so far as they were last year. They’re never out of a game because of it, but we will have to see if water finds its level and they got hot or if we will see more of the same.

Here’s the game and broadcast info below:

Teams: No. 18 Michigan Wolverines (2-0) at No. 8 Villanova (2-0)

Date: Wednesday, November 14

Time: 6:30 p.m. ET

Location: Finneran Pavilion, Bryn Mawr, PA

Televison/Streaming: Fox Sports 1/Fox Sports Go app

Tonight’s question is simple: What do you expect to see in tonight’s game?
