Despite a rough start to the week on the road at Northwestern, the Michigan Wolverines basketball team was able to finish on a high note and knock off Wisconsin on the road yesterday. The strong finish helped Michigan secure a spot in the Associated Press’ top 25 for a fifth straight week.

The Wolverines dropped two spots to No. 22 in this week’s AP Poll, and are just two votes behind No. 21 Texas A&M. The teams just behind Michigan are Oklahoma, Nevada and Arizona State.
Three Big Ten teams are now in the AP’s top 10 — No. 2 Michigan State, No. 6 Purdue and No. 8 Ohio State.
Michigan plays two games at home this week — Wednesday evening against Iowa and a Sunday afternoon rematch against the Buckeyes.
