Michigan defeated Northwestern and Minnesota at home this past week, with the latter needed an overtime period to decide the game. The Wolverines have now won four straight games at Crisler Center.
Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Purdue remains at No. 3, Michigan State moved up one spot to No. 4 and Ohio State jumped three spots to No. 14. Nebraska also received four votes this week to be ranked.
The Wolverines are on the road for both games this week — at Northwestern Tuesday night and at Wisconsin Sunday afternoon.
