Beilein’s bunch gets Big Ten Tournament play started this afternoon against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The good guys enter the tournament on a 5-game win streak and as winners of 7 of their last 8.
This team enters the tournament on almost the entire opposite end of the spectrum as last year’s. To the surprise of some, there are now expectations attached to March Madness. Mo Wagner made a name for himself during last year’s surprise run and senior Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman is coming off the game of his life.

Today’s Question:
The only real one is whether they’ll come out prepared or allow the Hawkeyes to play spoiler. As I alluded to at the start, with wins against Texas, UCLA, Ohio State, Michigan State, and a terrific February, Michigan is going to play the role of hunted rather than hunter in most games going forward.
