Former Michigan Wolverine Ibi Watson announced two weeks ago he would be transferring away from the program.
Now the former Wolverine announced on his Twitter page Wednesday he is officially heading to Ohio to further his education and playing career at Dayton.
I’m extremely blessed to announce that I am going to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Dayton ⚪️ Go Flyers! pic.twitter.com/YGMoi0jSxU

The sophomore played in 24 games off the bench last season for Michigan and averaged 1.8 points over his two seasons with the Wolverines.
Watson is from Pickerington, Ohio, which isn’t too far from Dayton, so it’s great to see Watson is moving closer to home where he will have an opportunity to compete for a starting role.
We wish nothing but the best of luck to Watson as he continues his playing career!
