The Wolverines exacted revenge for their first loss of the year by topping the previously nineteenth-ranked Badgers Saturday by a score of 61-52.
Michigan State got punished for its loss at lowly Illinois Tuesday, and tumbled to No. 11. Wisconsin dropped only one spot to No. 20.
John Beilein and company trail a top-five comprised of (from one to five): Tennessee, Duke, Gonzaga, Virginia and Kentucky.
This week, the Wolverines travel to Penn State Tuesday and return to Crisler Center Saturday for a tilt with No. 24 Maryland.
