Poole, along with Ignas Brazdeikis and Charles Matthews (who has also announced he’s remaining in the draft) declared for the draft after leading Michigan to the Sweet 16 where they lost to the runner-up Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The 6-foot-5 guard from Milwaukee averaged 12.8 points per game on 37 percent shooting from three. In the tournament, Poole dropped 19 points and hit four threes to beat Florida. He also scored 21 against Purdue as part of a 17-0 start to the season.
With all that, Poole will most be remembered for his heroics against the Houston Cougars in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
