Michigan basketball was represented well on Thursday night during the NBA Draft, with two of their alumni being selected in the top 50 picks.
First Jordan Poole went to the Golden State Warriors with the 28th pick, then Ignas Brazdeikis was selected 47th overall by the New York Knicks.
Both selections had people talking, and there were Twitter reactions aplenty about the picks. Here’s a recap of who said what about Iggy and Poole.
Poole
Jordan Poole in Draymond Green’s locker room is ... let’s say the flies on the wall might be entertained.

It will never get old watching Jordan Poole run away from his teammates after he hit that buzzer beater against Houston.

Jim Halpert or Jordan Poole? ✂️ pic.twitter.com/fMubT75gKF
Jordan Poole is the first player the Warriors have selected from the University of Michigan since choosing Rickey Green with the 16th overall pick of the 1977 NBA Draft.

If you watched Jordan Poole's film from November and December, you would draft him in the lottery. Appears that Golden State watched that film.

Hard not to fall in love with what Poole can become. Will be fascinating to watch his development.
Former Michigan head coach (& new Cavs coach) John Beilein on #Warriors first round pick Jordan Poole, "The guy is an overdose of swag. He's got everything you could ask for. He dreams of those (game-winning) shots. He lives for those shots. That's what he loves."

About Jordan Poole (no relation): He's fearless, and embraces the big moment. Has Jarrett Jack swag but is a better athlete.

Brazdeikis
Ignas Brazdeikis shot 39.2 percent from 3 at Michigan in his only season there. He shot 43% on 73 NBA-length 3s, according to The Stepien's shot chart. He's also Canadian. The Knicks are bathing their roster in maple syrup tonight. https://t.co/qnBUm0UGnq

The entire scouting report I have on Ignas Brazdeikis is that he talks a lot of shit and shoots a lot of 3s.

Sounds good.
Brazdeikis ranked in the 92nd percentile out of spot-ups, 84th out of PnR, 89th as a cutter. Versatile scoring wing, highly competitive.
