The Michigan Wolverines suffered a setback at the hands of the rival Michigan State Spartans on Sunday afternoon in East Lansing and the college basketball AP poll has been adjusted accordingly.

This week, Michigan comes in ranked No. 19 ahead of a pair of games against Purdue at home on Thursday and a trip to Minnesota on Sunday. They were previously ranked No. 12 prior to the 87-69 loss in East Lansing on Sunday.

Five Big Ten teams were featured in this week’s poll with the Spartans moving back into the top ten at No. 8, while Ohio State comes in the next highest at No. 11 and Maryland right behind them at No. 12. Penn State is ranked 20th just behind Michigan.

Here is the full poll for this week which features Gonzaga at the No. 1 spot. Michigan beating them in the Bahamas appears as if it will be the win from non-conference season that holds up the most come March.
