WATCH: Basketball Highlights & Analysis vs. Ball State

Stephen Osentoski breaks down the Michigan basketball win over Ball State

Michigan Basketball gave us a scare in their previous game against Oakland with a close 81-71 overtime victory. Thankfully, the Michigan Wolverines made things a bit easier this time around, pulling away from the Ball State Cardinals 84-65. Outside of some sloppy defense at the end of the first half, this one was rarely in question, as Michigan established themselves early and shot the ball extremely well within the 3-point line.

Isaiah Livers again led the team in scoring with 21 points, with Dickinson & Wagner impressing as well. The transfers Mike Smith and Chaundee Brown were solid in their own right, proving that Michigan has an extremely deep basketball squad this year.
