Isaiah Livers traveled with his teammates for the Michigan Wolverines road trip to Rutgers, but it appears he will not be playing in Wednesday’s night game. According to media members on site at the RAC, the junior forward is in a walking boot and wearing street clothes.

Livers injured his ankle on Sunday in the win over Indiana after getting tangled up with a Hoosier in the second half of action. This will be the 10th game that he has missed this season after sitting out nine games with a groin injury.
The Wolverines will once again turn to Brandon Johns in the starting lineup, who has picked up his play as of late both as a replacement for Livers and coming off the bench when the team has been at full strength.
Michigan has never lost at Rutgers and Rutgers has not lost at home this season, so something has to give in Wednesday night’s showdown. Michigan defeated Rutgers by a score of 69-63 earlier this month at Madison Square Garden in a game that Livers did not play in.
