“Myself along with the guidance of my family have decided that I will continue my academic and athletic career at IMG Academy,” Howard said in a statement on Twitter. “I would like to thank NSU University School my teammates/brothers, teachers and friends for an incredible 2 years. I am a better person and athlete because of your investment in me and I am forever grateful.”
Jett, son of Michigan’s head coach Juwan Howard, received an offer by the Wolverines in December and is ranked as the No. 13 shooting guard and No. 58 overall prospect in the 2022 class.
IMG Academy is considered one of the best schools year in and year out with a roster stacked with four-star and five-star recruits, and Howard’s move to IMG will give him a bigger platform to fine-tune his craft before playing collegiate basketball.
The 6-foot-6 Howard averaged 15.6 points and 3.7 assists as a sophomore and currently has offers from Michigan, Vanderbilt, and Florida with all seven crystal ball predictions going in Michigan’s favor.
