Juwan Howard’s first full recruiting class at Michigan produced the top haul of talent in the Big Ten and the nation’s No. 13 overall batch of players. Now, those prospects know which numbers they will be sporting at the next level ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Four-star center Hunter Dickinson will sport the No. 1 jersey for the basketball program, while four-star guard Zeb Jackson has been given No. 3 and four-star forward Terrance Williams will wear No. 5. Walk-on Jace Howard will be wearing No. 10 to play for his father in Ann Arbor.

Junior guard Adrien Nunez will be switching from No. 5 to No. 0, which was previously occupied by David DeJulius (transfer). Grad transfer Mike Smith will sport the No. 12, which is what he wore during his first two seasons at Columbia.

Transfers Chaundee Brown and Nojel Eastern have yet to be given numbers because they have not been officially announced by the program.

As of now, the 2020-21 college basketball season remains mostly untouched while other sports across the country have been adjusting following the coronavirus pandemic. The only change to Michigan’s schedule so far is the cancelation of the game against Kentucky in London, which has been moved to the 2022 season. The series will now kick off in 2021 when the Wildcats come to Crisler Center on Dec. 4.
