WATCH: Highlights and analysis from Michigan’s win over Wisconsin

Breaking down the (yet another) blowout victory over a ranked opponent

In my previous videos, I’ve continually had to update my projection of the various accolades that Hunter Dickinson would earn by the end of the year in his debut year with the Michigan Wolverines. With his 5th Big Ten Freshman of the Week award in hand, it was going to be an exciting match-up against fellow big man Micah Potter of the Wisconsin Badgers.

So, what if I told you Hunter Dickinson had 2 points at halftime? Add in the little fact that Michigan was also up 17 points at halftime, and you may wonder what the hell happened? Michigan’s defense continues to constrict offenses into terrible situations, and outside of some three-pointers that abnormally didn’t fall for the Badgers, that was the case, here.

Michigan had 4 players in double digits between Mike Smith, Franz Wagner, Isaiah Livers, and Hunter Dickinson. Make no mistake, this was a throttling from the entire team, despite the slow start from the freshman big man.

It’s a team that’s seemingly putting it all together, and damn is it fun to break down. Timestamps below:
