Tip time, location set for Michigan’s Sweet Sixteen matchup with Florida State

The Wolverines will play on Sunday.

The Michigan Wolverines are on to the Sweet Sixteen for the fourth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. This outing will see them take on the No. 4 seed Florida State Seminoles on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

CBS will have the broadcast with Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson on the call for the contest.

Michigan was able to outlast LSU on Monday night in an 86-78 victory in the Round of 32. it now sets up a matchup that is a rematch of the 2018 Elite Eight, which went in Michigan’s favor by a score of 58-54 en route to a national title game appearance.

Florida State’s first two games of the NCAA Tournament have seen them take on UNC Greensboro and Colorado. The Seminoles beat UNCG by a score of 64-54 before a 71-53 win over Colorado on Monday night.

Michigan’s win over LSU was preceded by a victory on Saturday against the No. 16 seed Texas Southern by a score of 82-66. KenPom projects a 75-71 victory for the Wolverines on Sunday and a 65 percent chance of victory.
