The Big Ten Tournament is underway from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in an event that is an appetizer to this year’s NCAA Tournament. The teams in the Big Ten get a week’s head start on the rest of the field in getting acclimated to the environment that this batch of March Madness will bring in a COVID-impacted year.
The Michigan Wolverines enter the field as the top overall seed in the conference after winning the regular season title. Should they make a run through the weekend, it could potentially put them on a collision course with Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State and Purdue.
The Big Ten Tournament kicked off on Wednesday from Indianapolis and will run through Sunday afternoon. All games will be broadcast via Big Ten Network until Saturday’s semifinals when the coverage moves to CBS.
