Michigan Adds Sixth Early Enrollee of 2016 Recruiting Class


Three-star tight end Sean McKeon (Dudley, MA) became the sixth member of Michigan's 2016 recruiting class to sign his financial aid papers in preparation to become an early enrollee. He joins WR Ahmir Mitchell, RBs Kingston Davis and Kareem Walker, QB Brandon Peters, and LB Devin Bush, Jr., who became the fifth signee yesterday.

It's believed that two more members of the 2016 class will sign their papers to become an early enrollee.

Harbaugh Officially Welcomes Devin Bush Jr. to Michigan Football


The class of 2016's early enrollees are getting close to hitting campus in January and Jim Harbaugh has been welcoming each member to the program via Twitter as they have signed their paperwork.

On Tuesday, Harbaugh welcomed 2016 linebacker Devin Bush Jr. (Hollywood, Florida), who committed to the Wolverines last week. He is the fifth confirmed early enrollee, joining quarterback Brandon Peters, running backs Kingston Davis and Kareem Walker and wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell.

Mario Ojemudia's Career at Michigan Officially Over


Michigan defensive end Mario Ojemudia's football career is officially over, he posted on Instagram on Monday night.

Ojemudia was hoping for a medical redshirt for next season after missing most of this year. It appears the Big Ten shot that down.

Ojemudia had 82 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks in his four seasons at Michigan.

It's only a preseason poll, but the Wolverines are in the top 25 in baseball. Not only that, as you'll notice above they are the highest-ranked B1G team.

Former Michigan DB Charles Woodson to Retire from the NFL


Former Michigan Wolverine and Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson announced on Monday night he will retire from the NFL after 18 seasons.

Woodson, who has spent 11 years with the Oakland Raiders and seven with the Green Bay Packers, has 65 career interceptions, 33 forced fumbles and 20 sacks in his career.

Woodson is the only player ever to win a Heisman, National Title, NFL Defensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl in his career.

Michigan Makes Jean Delance's Top Three


Michigan has made the list of three schools in the mix for 2016 offensive tackle Jean Delance (Mesquite, Texas).

Also named are LSU and Texas in no particular order.

Delance, a four-star prospect, is one of Michigan's top remaining targets.

Caris LeVert Named Co-Big Ten Player of the Week


Michigan senior Caris LeVert was named a co-Big Ten Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. In Michigan's two wins against Northern Kentucky and Youngstown State last week, LeVert averaged 16.0 PPG (73.5 eFG%), 8.0 RPG, and 7.5 APG. Plus, he recorded Michigan's fourth-ever triple-double when he tallied 13 points, 10 boards, and 10 assists against the Norse.

LeVert is the first Wolverine to earn a Big Ten Player of the Week honor this season. He shares the award with Illinois' Malcolm Hill, who had 34 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals in his only game last week.
