Lee Corso: Jim Harbaugh will be "Urban Meyer's worst nightmare"

In this College GameDay discussion, Desmond Howard thinks Michigan's making a bowl game, and that Harbaugh's demands are what this team needed. Corso says the headlined pull-quote, and calls him "a modern-day Bo, every ounce a Michigan Man."

"Since Lloyd Carr left the sidelines, they have not felt like Michigan," adds former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit, but even he concedes that he thinks they could get to eight wins — and that that level of success would be an "unbelievable" building block.

10-Year-Old Ohio State Fan Worried that Heart Surgery Would Make Him a Michigan Fan

Ohio State fan and 10-year-old Ivan Applin needed to have surgery to fix the holes in his heart, and the surgery was to be performed at the University of Michigan's Mott's Congenital Heart Center. As pediatric cardiologist Dr. Ronald Grifka explained the procedure to Applin, the young Buckeye fan had one troubling concern on his mind.

"He asked if the Michigan doctors were going to make his heart love University of Michigan instead of Ohio State," Applin's mother, Jennifer, laughed.

The best news is that the surgery was successful, and Applin was able to return home the next day. And, yes, Applin did remain an Ohio State fan after the surgery, though I think we can all agree that Applin would be much better off loving Michigan instead.

Dave Brandon once floated Michigan-Ohio State not being annual

"Speaking of bad ideas, in the throes of Big Ten divisional realignment, Dave Brandon proposed that the Ohio State/Michigan game be occasionally moved to October, or in some cases, not played at all. He also proposed that Ohio State and Michigan be in different Big Ten divisions."

Thank goodness Dave Brandon is no longer Michigan's athletic director.

Jake Butt Is the Only Wolverine to Make ESPN's 2015 All-Big Ten Preseason Team

Michigan tight end Jake Butt is the only Wolverine to land on ESPN's 2015 All-Big Ten preseason team, which was released on Monday morning. On an offense full of question marks, Butt is the one sure commodity that the Wolverines have, and, with Jim Harbaugh's penchant for developing tight ends and targeting them in his offense, Butt seems primed to have an outstanding season.

No other Michigan players made the team, and it's hard to disagree with that decision. Michigan has lots of solid defenders, but none that stand out as the best at their position in the Big Ten. My best bet as to a Wolverine not named Butt that will crack the All-Big Ten team at season's end is Jourdan Lewis, but I understand why he's not on the preseason team.

Ohio State led the way with eight selections, while Michigan State had four players make the team.

Report: 2016 Michigan Commit Matt Falcon "Likely Out for the Season"

There have been some rumors in the past few days that 2016 Michigan running back commit Matt Falcon (Southfield, MI/Southfield HS) had suffered an injury. On Sunday night, the STATE CHAMPS! High School Sports Show reported that Falcon is "likely out for the season with a knee injury." This is the third knee injury that will force him to miss a large chunk of his high-school career. An ACL injury sidelined him for his entire sophomore season, and he missed half of his junior season after an MCL sprain. It's been a tough road for Falcon, and now it will get only tougher. Hopefully, he will be able to recover to full strength before he arrives in Ann Arbor next season.

Falcon is a four-star recruit and the No. 8 running back in the 2016 class according to 247Sports Composite Rankings

What a caption. And is being the center of attention at a Vegas bachelor party actually a step up from just spitting game to Kate Upton?
