Week 9 B1G Odds: UM Laying Double Digits

We've all heard how Michigan is going to put the loss to Michigan State behind them. Is laying 13.5 on the road, at night, a death wish?

Maize and blue football is back, you psychopaths, so let’s rally the hell up and start thrashing opponents

Oh, by the way, I got smoked last week in Big Ten play, let’s not talk about it, thanks.

Week 8 Results

Rutgers 1H Under 31.5-W

Illini +6.5-L

Indiana +16.5-L

Penn State TT Under-L

Nebraska-Northwestern Under-L

Big Ten Record: 43-36

Illinois at Penn State

Line: Penn State -6.5, 43

I was all gung-ho on fading the Nittany Lions away from home en route watching them throw up 31 on Maryland.

Illinois has been plagued by injuries on the offensive side of the ball; we’re used to seeing high-50s, low-60s with totals but setbacks to Geronimo Allison and Josh Ferguson has this offense in a chaotic rhythm.

I don’t necessarily care here, as I’ll play the over at 43.

Pick: Penn State-Illinois Over 43

Michigan at Minnesota

Line: Michigan -13.5, 39

I’ve seen it all on social media. The Wolverines are raring to go, the loss is completely behind them, and it’s time to start chugging along.

I’m anxious to see if the actions follow the words, and I believe that Michigan saddles up and takes care of Minnesota. Laying double digits on the road is nothing I want, but this team is truly too dominant to let the Gophers do anything on offense. Going for 8-1 on UM games here, folks.

Pick: Michigan -13.5

Maryland at Iowa

Line: Iowa -17.5, 53.5

One look at this game and I already despise it. Iowa laying 17.5 is pretty relevant considering its ran the table thus far, while Maryland is barely carrying a pulse.

Three-plus scores is a lot, and I think I’ll actually take the Terrapins plus the points with the Hawkeyes not having the presence of Canzeri (doubtful) at running back.

Pick: Maryland +17.5

Wisconsin at Rutgers

Line: Wisconsin -19, 48.5

Here’s a hot take: Wisconsin is not that good.

Here’s another one: Rutgers is absolutely abysmal. Line says it all and Wisco rolls.

Pick: Wisconsin Badgers -19

Nebraska at Purdue

Line: Nebraska -10.5, 57.5

Been burned by Nebraska in consecutive weeks so I’ll rip out my hair with every touchdown as I grab the under. Sigh. Cornhuskers by 75.

Pick: Nebraska-Purdue Under 57.5
