According to multiple reports, Tuskegee University, a division II program from the state of Alabama, has been granted access to talk to former wide receiver and kick returner Dennis Norfleet.

Norfleet, who was heading into his senior year as a member of the Michigan Wolverines, was kicked off the program back in early May after missing a final exam and some classes. If Norfleet intends to transfer to Tuskegee, he will be eligible to play immediately rather than sit out a season.

A member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Tuskegee has reached the Division II playoffs in 12 different occasions since 1998. Their last Black College Football National Championship, which commemorates the best black college football team in the nation, was back in 2007.

Norfleet currently holds Michigan records for kick return yardage (2,203) and kick off returns (90) in his three seasons at Ann Arbor.
