Name: Nolan Ulizio
Position: Offensive Lineman
Height/Weight: 6-3, 280 pounds
Location: West Chester, Ohio (Lakota West HS)
The Story
It took less than a month for Ulizio to flip his commitment from UConn to Michigan back in January, nine days before National Signing Day. Cincinnati and Kentucky were among the finalists for the three-star recruit's services, but an official visit to Ann Arbor convinced him otherwise.
Ulizio also held offers from Indiana State, Robert Morris and Youngstown State, among others. He's the No. 59 ranked recruit from the state of Ohio and No. 137 offensive lineman in the country.
A scouting report from ESPN's Recruiting Nation indicates that he possesses great overall size and toughness coming into preseason camp, as well as the ability to play at multiple positions along the interior.
Ulizio is an OL prospect with good size and a physical, lunch pail type style. Little better football player then he is overall athlete and ceiling may not be real high, but with some continued development good prospect that has flown under the radar some and can be a productive contributor to an FBS OL potentially as a RT or could very well see a move inside to OG.
It wouldn't be a surprise if Ulizio redshirts for this upcoming season, considering the depth at right tackle and right guard and the fact that he's the lowest ranked offensive lineman in the class. Look for the Ohio native to have more of than impact later on in his career.
