It looks like Jim Harbaugh will be hopping on a plane this week to visit his old stomping grounds in California. He will be heading to Antioch, California to visit running back Najee Harris, per various reports.

Most recruiting services have running back Najee Harris as the top-ranked player in the nation coming out of high school. Harris visited the Wolverines this summer at the BBQ at the Big House recruiting event. Now Harbaugh is returning the favor and heading out to visit Harris.

Harris is currently an Alabama commit. But he told USA Today that he is not 100% on the Crimson Tide and still wants to use his visits to see what else is out there.

This would be a huge get for the Wolverines 2017 class if they were to manage to land Harris. At 6-3, 226 pounds, he is a big back that would fit perfectly into Michigan’s offensive scheme. Keep an eye on Harris throughout the rest of the recruiting process as we could slowly see him leaning closer and closer to perhaps flipping.
